News Topical, Digital Desk : Meerut News:  A young cloth merchant returning from Nauchandi fair was shot dead after he refused to give liquor. This murder has created a sensation. The family members are crying inconsolably. Actually, Junaid, a resident of Minara Masjid in Meerut's Lisadi Gate police station area, was a cloth merchant and also did weaving work. 

While returning from the fair, two of his acquaintances demanded alcohol from him, which Junaid refused to give. After this, an argument took place and an atmosphere of tension developed, while a young man shot the cloth merchant with a pistol, which resulted in his death.

 He was returning with his cousin after visiting the Nauchandi fair at night and was standing at the Hapur bus stand in the Nauchandi police station area. Just then two of Junaid's acquaintances, Salman and Suhail, came there. Both of them asked Junaid for liquor but he refused to give it. This led to an argument and the argument turned into a fight. It is then alleged that Salman took out his pistol and shot Junaid, causing a stampede there. After shooting Junaid, Salman and his friend Suhail ran away. 

Meanwhile, the injured Junaid was admitted to the hospital, but during treatment, the doctors declared him dead. On hearing the news of Junaid's death, there is chaos in his family. Junaid was the second among four brothers. The police has formed teams to arrest the accused and is raiding various places to arrest the accused as soon as possible. SP City Ayush Vikram Singh says that there was a dispute over alcohol and Junaid was killed in that. The family members say that they first got the information about the bullet injury but shortly after that the news of Junaid's death came.
