News Topical, Digital Desk : A school owner in Pink City Jaipur has filed an FIR against her domestic maid. A criminal case has been filed for cruelty to her pet dog by beating it. The FIR against the maid has been filed on the basis of CCTV footage. The accused maid is absconding since the case was filed. The police is investigating the matter.
According to the case, the school operator checked the CCTV camera footage to gather evidence against the maid's actions. According to the police, Dr. Sangeeta, a resident of Vidyadhar Nagar area, runs a private school. In December 2023, she hired 42-year-old Manju Kanwar, a resident of Shahjapura in Madhya Pradesh, for household work. Manju used to stay at home when she went to school.
'She used to be scared and used to hide in a corner'
Dr Sangeeta had kept a female dog at home. She was very fond of the pet dog. For the last few days, she noticed a change in the dog's behaviour. She used to be scared and used to hide in a corner. The neighbours also informed her that after she goes to school, the dog's crying and screaming sounds come from the house. When she talked to the maid about this, she did not give any information and pretended to be unaware.
'The maid used to torture the pet dog'
He came to know about the maid's misdeeds through CCTV cameras. When he got suspicious, he checked the record. He saw in the CCTV that after he went to school, the maid tortured the pet dog. She beat it. She twisted its neck and threw it on the ground.
The accused maid is absconding.
On this, Dr. Sangeeta has filed a criminal case against the maid Manju Kanwar in Vidyadhar Nagar Police Station. However, since the case was revealed, the accused maid is absconding. Dr. Sangeeta has also given CCTV footage to the police as evidence. The police have registered a case under the Animal Cruelty Act. The police is investigating the matter. The police says that appropriate action will be taken in this case based on the facts.
