'This is an attack on the faith of Hindus', AAP targets the murder of priest in Kalkaji temple

News Topical, Digital Desk : After the murder of the priest in Delhi, opposition parties have targeted the BJP. The Aam Aadmi Party said that despite the BJP having a four-engine government, a priest of Kalkaji temple was brutally beaten to death. This is not just a murder but also an attack on our faith. All this happened due to the failure of the BJP government and the Delhi Police. 

In fact, on Saturday (August 30), Aam Aadmi Party MLA Anil Jha said during a press conference, "Although BJP spreads religious frenzy across the country, it could not save the life of the priest who was protecting religion in Delhi. The law and order situation in Delhi is bad and the morale of the criminals is high. Incidents of murder, robbery, theft, rape are increasing because the law and order is in the hands of incompetent people."

'AAP is concerned about law and order'

Anil Jha further said, "Aam Aadmi Party is extremely concerned about the deteriorating law and order situation in Delhi. There is a BJP government at the Centre and in Delhi. MCD, Cantonment Board, NDMC, DDA and LG are all under the BJP. BJP considers itself the biggest advocate of religion. It has been agitating for temples, trying to save temples and maintain the priests. Despite this, today such a situation has arisen in the country's capital Delhi that the intelligence of the BJP government seems to be failing." 

‘This incident is a matter of concern’

The AAP leader further said, "The famous Kalkaji temple is just 6-7 km away from New Delhi. During Durga Puja, thousands and lakhs of people come to visit the Kalkaji temple. BJP has always claimed that the law and order is strong in Delhi. Despite this, the priest of Kalkaji temple was brutally murdered. This incident is not just a matter of concern but a failure of the BJP government. Delhi Police's intelligence, local information system kept the security lax despite anticipating the incident and the priest of Kalkaji temple was murdered. This matter is very shocking."

Questions raised on the attitude of Delhi Police

Anil Jha questioned the attitude of Delhi Police and said, "Abhishek Dharia is the DCP of East Delhi. During a press conference on the ransom of Rs 25 lakh, Abhishek Dharia said that Lawrence Bishnoi 'Sahab''s name has come up in this. This is the mental bankruptcy of Delhi Police. The law and order of Delhi is in the hands of incompetent people."

BJP is pretending to have law and order

He said, "On one hand, BJP says that it cannot step back on religious beliefs and on the other hand, in the BJP rule, the priest of the temple, the Granthi of the Gurudwara, the Maulana of the mosque and the pastor of the church are not safe. So, is BJP just making false claims of strong law and order from Uttar Pradesh to Delhi?"
