According to Chinese media, Hwang spent this money on live streaming. A few days later, when Hwang ran out of money, she again made a dangerous decision. She thought of giving birth to a second child and selling it and started looking for men. Hwang became pregnant again in 2022 and gave birth to a son.

Hwang contacted the broker and sold the second son for just 38,000 yuan (Rs 4 lakh 37 thousand). The broker gave that child to someone else for 103,000 yuan (Rs 12 lakh). Hwang then spent the money he got in exchange for the child on tipping live streamers and buying clothes.

Police arrested him

The Chinese police came to know about this on 13 April 2022. The police arrested Hwang. When Hwang's phone was searched, a chat about selling the child was found in it. The police produced Hwang in court.

The court pronounced the sentence

The court sentenced Hwang to 5 years and 2 months in prison on 8 July 2024. Along with this, Hwang has also been fined 30,000 yuan (3 lakh 59 thousand rupees) for fraud and smuggling. Apart from this, the court has sentenced Lee to 9 months and Wei to 7 months in prison.
