Chew fennel and cardamom- If your mouth smells bad, then eat fennel or cardamom after eating food. Its fragrance will remove the smell from your mouth. Many times there are such things in food which smell later. That is why fennel and cardamom are used as natural mouth freshener. 

Chew mint leaves and cloves- To get rid of bad breath, you can chew mint leaves. This will reduce bad breath and give a feeling of freshness. Mint is used as a mouth freshener. Apart from this, cloves also prove to be effective. Anti-bacterial properties are found in cloves which kill bacteria. 

Eat an apple- If your mouth smells bad, eat an apple. This increases the production of saliva in the mouth, which helps in reducing the smell. Apple is a natural fiber which also keeps your stomach clean. To get rid of bad breath, keep a small piece of apple in your mouth. This will remove the bad smell.

Rose water spray- Rose water can also be used as a mouth freshener. It has antiseptic properties that kill bad and dirty bacteria in the mouth. You can also gargle with rose water. Or you can put it in your mouth as a spray. This will remove bad breath.

Neem Toothbrush- In olden times, people used to use neem toothbrush. Neem is very beneficial for teeth. It cleans the mouth well. By using neem toothbrush, the anti-bacterial properties found in it help in removing bad breath.
