
News Topical, Digital Desk : Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Friday said that Indians should not be complacent about independence. They have to work hard and sacrifice to maintain independence. Mohan Bhagwat said this while addressing a gathering organized on the occasion of Independence Day at the RSS office in Bhubaneswar. He said that independent India also has a duty towards the whole world which is facing countless problems and has not been able to overcome them for 2000 years.
You have to work as hard as your ancestors
The RSS chief said, "Our ancestors gave India independence by making the supreme sacrifice. We too will have to work equally hard to maintain it, make the country self-reliant and emerge as a 'Vishwa Guru' to guide the world embroiled in disputes." Bhagwat said that Indians should work as hard as their ancestors did for three generations to get independence.
He said, "This should happen on the basis of India's religion and knowledge." He said that India also has to show the way to the world. Bhagwat said that India brings peace and happiness to the world and shares its religion with others.

The RSS chief said, "We got independence so that everyone in our country can enjoy happiness, courage, security, peace and respect. However, the world is faltering. It is our duty to provide solutions to the world and build a new world full of happiness and peace based on our vision based on religious principles." There are environmental issues and conflicts across the world, he said. He said that in such a situation, it is India's duty to guide others, solve problems and make the world peaceful and prosperous as 'Vishwa Guru'.
PM Modi praised the Sangh
Let us tell you that earlier this morning, during his address to the nation from the Red Fort, PM Modi praised the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He mentioned the completion of 100 years of the establishment of RSS and said that the country is proud of the journey of this organization's service to the nation. He also said that RSS is the largest NGO in the world and it will continue to inspire.
The Prime Minister said, "Today, 100 years ago, an organisation was born, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. 100 years of service to the nation is a very proud task. From individual development to the goal of nation building, lakhs of volunteers dedicated their lives for the welfare of Maa Bharati. In a way, this is the world's largest NGO. There is a history of 100 years of dedication." Modi said, "Today, from the ramparts of the Red Fort, I respectfully remember all the volunteers who contributed to this 100-year journey of national service." He said that the country is proud of the grand, dedicated journey of 100 years of RSS.
