Goods train overturned after collision in Sahibganj, horrific scene of the accident captured on camera

News Topical, Digital Desk : Several coaches of a goods train loaded with stones derailed in a railway yard in Sahibganj district of Jharkhand on Thursday. This accident happened in Barharwa railway yard of Eastern Railway. It is a matter of relief that there is no news of anyone being injured or killed in this incident. After the accident, the railway said that this accident happened inside the yard, where some coaches of the goods train loaded with stones slipped out of control and collided with another standing goods train. The collision was so strong that many coaches climbed over each other and derailed.

Several coaches were damaged in the accident

A video of this incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media, in which the collision and overturning of the coaches is clearly visible. According to eyewitnesses, the goods train was standing loaded with stones, when suddenly some of its coaches started rolling forward. These coaches collided with another goods train at an uncontrolled speed , due to which many coaches were damaged. The railways is likely to suffer huge financial losses due to this accident. Also, loading work in the yard has also been affected.

Railway is investigating the accident

As soon as the incident was reported, senior railway officials reached the spot and took stock of the situation. Relief and repair work has been started rapidly. The railway has started an investigation into this accident to find out whether this accident happened due to human error or technical fault. Although this accident has not affected the main operations of the railway, but local people and railway yard employees are worried about this incident. The exact causes of the accident will be revealed only after the investigation is completed.
