
News Topical, Digital Desk : Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray has got a clean chit in the suicide case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's former manager Disha Salian.
The Mumbai Police has claimed in an affidavit filed in the High Court on Wednesday that the medical and scientific evidence has not proved that Disha Salian was murdered or was sexually assaulted in any way.
The father had demanded a CBI inquiry
Shiv Sena Thackeray faction MLA Aditya Thackeray was also accused in this case. Disha Salian's father Satish Salian had filed a petition in the High Court demanding a CBI inquiry into the case. During the hearing of this case, the police has filed an affidavit.
The Mumbai Police has claimed in the High Court that the affidavit does not prove on the basis of medical and scientific evidence that Disha Salian was murdered or sexually assaulted in any way. The police also clarified in the affidavit that there is no evidence to support the petitioners' allegations that Disha was murdered and Shiv Sena (Thackeray faction) MLA Aditya Thackeray was involved in the murder.
Aditya Thackeray was accused, now Sanjay Raut is hitting back
Regarding this matter, BJP leaders Narayan Rane and Nitesh Rane had alleged that Aditya Thackeray was involved in the Disha Salian suicide case. There was also a demand for a narco test of Aditya Thackeray in this case.
After the police chargesheet found no evidence, Shiv Sena Uddhav faction leader Sanjay Raut told opposition leaders, "Now, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis should apologise (to Aditya Thackeray). Narayan Rane's son Nitish Rane, Devendra Fadnavis, other BJP leaders, Eknath Shinde, all of them should apologise to Shiv Sena (UBT) and Aditya Thackeray."
