Four personalities from UP received 'Padma Shri' award, CM Yogi congratulated them:

President Draupadi Murmu honoured four eminent personalities of the state with the prestigious 'Padma Shri' award at a function held in New Delhi. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated all the dignitaries and described their contribution as an invaluable heritage.

Those who received the honour include renowned painter, writer and teacher Dr. Shyam Bihari Agarwal, former Speaker of UP Assembly, Bharatiya Janata Party leader, writer and columnist Hriday Narayan Dixit, Vedic scholar Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid and para athletics coach Dr. Satyapal Singh. Chief Minister Yogi congratulated everyone through social media and said that the contribution of these eminent personalities in art, literature and sports makes the state and the country proud.

What did CM Yogi say?
CM Yogi congratulated Dr. Shyam Bihari Agarwal and said that his art practice and selfless service in the field of education have left an indelible mark on the Indian art world. His contribution will continue to inspire future generations as well.

Congratulating former UP Assembly Speaker and writer Hriday Narayan Dixit, the Chief Minister said that his writings highlight Indian culture, philosophy and life values. His literature strengthens the national spirit. Dixit ji has also been the Speaker of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly for a long time and is known for his deep understanding of Indian politics and literature.

On Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid receiving the Padma Shri, the Chief Minister described him as the beacon of Indian knowledge tradition. Shastri ji had decided the auspicious time for the ground breaking ceremony of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya and Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi. His contribution in the field of Vedic literature and Sanskrit is appreciated across the country.

The Chief Minister also congratulated Dr Satyapal Singh, a renowned para athletics coach, on receiving the Padma Shri. Yogi said that Satyapal Singh's tireless hard work and dedication towards sports has brought glory to not only the state but the entire country at the international level.
