News Topical, Digital Desk : FIIs Data Today: The data of buying and selling of domestic institutional investors (DII) and foreign institutional investors (FII/FPI) in the Indian stock market on 17 June 2025 has come out. Today, tremendous buying has been seen among domestic and foreign investors in the market. Both the investors invested heavily in the capital market segment, due to which the atmosphere in the market remained positive. Foreign investors have been continuously selling in the last four trading sessions, but despite two major geopolitical reasons, investors surprised everyone by buying today.

On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹18,732.84 crore today and sold shares worth ₹10,936.27 crore, taking their net buying to ₹7,796.57 crore. On the other hand, foreign institutional investors (FIIs/FPIs) bought shares worth ₹13,392.44 crore and sold shares worth ₹11,776.25 crore, taking their net buying to ₹1,616.19 crore. On the three major stock exchanges NSE, BSE and MSEI, DIIs bought shares worth ₹19,427.32 crore and sold shares worth ₹11,220.13 crore, taking their net buying to ₹8,207.19 crore. During the same period, FII/FPI bought shares worth ₹13,581.10 crore and sold shares worth ₹12,098.33 crore, taking their net purchase figure to ₹1,482.77 crore. 

What does this mean? DII showed the highest activity in the market today and made a total net purchase of ₹8,207 crore. At the same time, FII/FPI also made a net purchase of ₹1,483 crore. This has strengthened the confidence of investors in the market and the bullish environment is likely to remain in the market in the future as well.
