News Topical,Digital Desk : Information has come in about the amount of buying and selling done by domestic and foreign institutional investors in the Indian capital market today. According to the NSE website, strong selling was seen.

According to the data on the website, foreign institutional investors (FIIs/FPIs) bought a total of ₹11,680.49 crore in the cash segment, while selling ₹9,206.39 crore. Thus, the net investment of FIIs was ₹2,474.10 crore.

At the same time, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) also made aggressive selling in the market, buying a total of ₹14,436.32 crore and selling ₹11,618.68 crore. The net investment of DIIs during this period was ₹2,817.64 crore. This strong buying from both FIIs and DIIs played an important role in creating a positive environment in the market. Market analysts say that due to the activity of both classes, stability and boom can be seen in the market in the near future. 

Foreign institutional investors have intensified their activities in the Indian market in April 2025. As of April 28, FIIs bought a total of Rs 259,102.04 and sold Rs 258,803.20, resulting in a net purchase of Rs 298.84. As per the daily data, on April 25, FIIs bought Rs 15,524.03 and sold Rs 12,571.70, registering a net purchase of Rs 2,952.33 on the day. In contrast, net purchases of Rs 8,250.53 were witnessed on April 24, while net purchases of Rs 3,936.42 were witnessed on April 16. FIIs' activity has been volatile since the beginning of this month, reflecting market volatility.
