
FIIs Data: The data of investment by institutional investors in the stock market on 25 April 2025 has arrived. According to the NSE website, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought a total of ₹ 16,170.72 crore today, while selling ₹ 12,630.87 crore. Thus, the net investment of DIIs has been ₹ 3,539.85 crore.
At the same time, foreign institutional investors (FII/FPI) bought ₹15,524.03 crore and sold ₹12,571.70 crore, making the net investment of FIIs ₹2,952.33 crore. Due to this strong buying, a positive trend has been seen in the market.
Buying in recent days
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have intensified their activities in the Indian market in April 2025. As of April 25, FIIs bought a total of Rs 2,47,421.55, while selling Rs 2,49,596.81, resulting in a net sell of Rs 2,175.26. According to daily data, on April 25, FIIs bought Rs 15,524.03 and sold Rs 12,571.70, registering a net buy of Rs 2,952.33 on that day. In contrast, net purchases of Rs 8,250.53 were witnessed on April 24, while net purchases of Rs 3,936.42 were witnessed on April 16. Since the beginning of this month, fluctuations have been observed in FII activity, which reflects the volatility of the market. In the past months, there was a slight increase in market activity in March 2025, where total purchases by foreign investors stood at 2,96,455.65 and total sales stood at 2,94,441.47, registering a net investment of 2,014.18. There was a net sell-off of -58,988.08 and -87,374.66 respectively in February and January 2025. Earlier, a big decline was also recorded in the market in October 2024, where foreign investors sold a total of -1,14,445.89. There was definitely some relief in September 2024, when a net investment of Rs 12,611.79 was seen.
