New Delhi. Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's film Stree 2 continues to rule the box office. It has been more than a month since the film was released in the theatres and it is continuously maintaining its impact. This film, which was released on 15 August, is giving tough competition to the newly released films. Kareena Kapoor's Buckingham Murders seemed to be outdone by Stree. At the same time, Shah Rukh Khan's Veer Zaara and Shoaham Shah's Tumbbad, which were re-released in theatres, also could not make any significant impact on its collection.

Stree 2, directed by Amar Kaushik, has surpassed Gadar and Pathan in just 27 days. Now Animal has also been eliminated. Stree 2 is the sequel to the horror-comedy film Stree released in 2018. The first part of the film with the same name, which came 6 years ago, did a business of 100 crores.

How much was the collection?

On the 27th day, Stree 2 surpassed Pathan and became the third highest grossing film. By the 26th day, the movie did a business of 555.04 crores while Tuesday's collection was 3 crores. However, the earnings were a bit slow on Wednesday. The film collected less than 3 crores in a day for the first time. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the collection of Stree 2 on the 34th day was 2.65 crores. The film has so far collected a net of 586 crores in India.

213% more than Jawan

The 33rd day collection of Stree 2 is still 213% more than Shah Rukh Khan's Jawaan. According to news website Koi Moi, Jawaan earned 80 lakhs on the 33rd day at the box office. In this way, Stree 2 has made many new records in its name. Stree 2 has surpassed Pathan (543.22 crores) and Animal's collection of 554 crores. Apart from this, leaving behind Shah Rukh Khan's Jawaan, the film has become the first highest grossing film in Hindi version. In this way, Stree 2 has achieved the position of beating every film of the year 2023.
