New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut's film Emergency has been facing protests ever since the trailer was released. Due to the continuous protests from the Sikh community, the film has not even been able to get a certificate from the Censor Board. The film was scheduled to release in theatres on September 6 but it has been postponed for now.

However, now the news is coming that after three cuts, the film has got the green signal for release. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given the film a 'UA' certificate. A total of 10 changes have been made in it along with 3 cuts.

Demand for change in these scenes

Not only this, the censor board has also asked the makers for facts and sources on the controversial statements shown in Kangana Ranaut's film. One of the scenes for which changes have been demanded is the derogatory comment made by President Richard Nixon towards Indian women. Apart from this, Winston Churchill's statement that Indians breed like rabbits is also included.

Kangana Ranaut gave information about the film being postponed

Earlier, Kangana Ranaut had posted on her official X account and informed about the postponement of the film's release date. Kangana wrote - With a heavy heart, I announce that my directorial film 'Emergency' has been postponed. We are still waiting for certification from the censor board. The new release date will be announced soon. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
