Mumbai: Brijendra Kala is one of those artists who are known more for their work than their name. In such a situation, when artists get a chance to play roles related to the background of their regional places, it becomes easy for them to play that role. Brijendra Kala will soon be seen in the film Do Patti being made under Kriti Sanon's production house.
Brijendra Kala will be seen in Do Patti
Talking to Dainik Jagran about this film starring Kajol and Kriti Sanon, Brijendra said, 'We have shot Do Patti in Uttarakhand and Manali. Some parts of the film have also been shot in Mumbai. This is my first project with Kajol. It is a coincidence that a few days after working with Kajol for the first time in this film, I also worked with her husband Ajay for the first time in the film Raid 2.'
What role will the actor play?
The actor further said, 'Kajol is playing the role of a police officer in Do Patti, I have played the role of her assistant. My character thinks that what will a female police officer do. Then gradually my character comes to know about the seriousness and honesty of his officer towards work and then he also starts helping her. I myself am from Uttarakhand, so I also added a little Garhwali style to my character's language.'
Brijendra started his acting career in films in 2005 with the film 'Haasil' directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. He got his big breakthrough with the 2012 film 'Paan Singh Tomar' in which he played the role of a local reporter.
