After I signed the project, my projects were taken away from me and I got threats from the underworld. The police had to provide me with a gun and a gun for my security." Even at this time, I was worried about my family because I had a gun for my security but what about my mother, sister and father. I started worrying about their safety.

Vivek married Priyanka, daughter of former Karnataka minister late Jeevaraj Alva, in 2010. They have two children, a son and a daughter. Vivek often shares pictures with his family on his Instagram.
