Ayushmann refused

Anurag Singh will direct this film. It was being said that Ayushmann Khurrana will play the lead actor in the film along with Sunny Deol. However, now the report has become clear. According to the report of Mid Day, after many days of talks, Ayushmann Khurrana has refused to do this role. According to the report, the actor was confused about his role opposite Sunny Deol in this movie.

It was said that both the makers and Ayushmann were excited to collaborate. Ayushmann was supposed to play a soldier in the film but Ayushmann felt that he would not be able to fit into the Deol Domination project and hence he refused to do the film.


Diljit Dosanjh may be seen

Recently, there was a rumour that Punjabi actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh will also be seen in this war drama. Talking about this, the source said, “Nothing has been confirmed yet. But Diljit has been approached by the makers. He has a strong audience base in North India, it will be a pleasant experience to see Diljit and Sunny together on screen. It is expected that the film will go on the floors by November.

Director JP Dutta's cult classic Border will complete 27 years in June 2024. On this special occasion, Sunny Deol announced the sequel Border 2. Sunny posted a video on Instagram in which he said, "27 years ago a soldier had promised that he would return, to fulfill that promise and to say his salute to the soil of India, he is coming. This film will be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta.
