New Delhi: Renowned singer Asha Bhosle has expressed her concern about the young generation and modern relationships. Recently, during a conversation with spiritual guru Ravi Shankar, the singer questioned why so many young couples opt for divorce so soon without making enough efforts to resolve their issues?

Divorce papers are sent every month

Meanwhile, she also recalled her own experience. Asha said that she too faced many problems in her married life with her husband but despite this, she never thought of divorce and raised three children. Whereas now I hear that couples send divorce papers every month.

Why do relationships break?

Responding to Asha's question, Sri Sri Ravishankar said, "You kept everyone happy with your songs. You had faith in God and the strength to bear and deal with problems. But people of today do not have the strength to bear problems." Asha said that I feel that couples of today get bored of each other very quickly and they do not have the ability to bear at all, due to which these relationships break so quickly.

Let us tell you that Asha went against her family and married 31-year-old Ganpatrao Bhosle. She was 16 years old then. She has three children from this marriage. However, both of them separated in the year 1960. Then Asha married music director-actor RD Burman in 1980 and stayed with him for the rest of her life.
