News Topical, Digital Desk : DUSU Elections 2025:  There is a lot of commotion in Delhi University (DU) regarding the student union elections. Meanwhile, a fight broke out between NSUI and ABVP workers in Kirori Mal College on Tuesday (September 16). 

Congress MP Deepender Hooda and NSUI national president Varun Chaudhary had reached Delhi University South Campus to campaign for DUSU elections. While addressing the crowd, Deepender Hooda expressed full confidence about the victory of the NSUI panel. According to the information, after Hooda's statement, ABVP students objected and soon the matter escalated to a fight.

What did Hooda say?

Hooda said, "I am confident that the NSUI panel will register a landslide victory in the DUSU elections." He further said, "While the RSS-BJP is engaged in strengthening the roots of hatred in our country, the NSUI is committed to spreading the message of love and unity. We will once again open 'Mohabbat ki Dukaan' in the Delhi University campus."

Ajay Rai's program

NSUI's stand Uttar Pradesh Congress president Ajay Rai was scheduled to visit KMC College (Kirori Mal College), Delhi University, where students from Purvanchal were waiting to welcome him. Just before his arrival, the ABVP is accused of resorting to violence and unsuccessfully trying to disrupt the event by attacking Purvanchal student supporters of the NSUI.

Ajay Rai sent a video message to the students assuring them that no fear and threat can weaken their morale. He is currently coming towards the college and will reach the campus soon. He strongly condemns this hooliganism of ABVP. Remember, students will respond to this violence and threat with the power of their votes.

Ajay Rai said, "ABVP is scared of the huge support NSUI is getting. The violence in KMC is proof of this. I am coming to stand with you."
