Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that we have nothing to do with this (attack). We reject all forms of terrorism.
India accused
While giving a statement to a Pakistani TV news channel, Khawaja Asif blamed India, saying that people from India are behind this attack. He further said that people from Nagaland to Manipur and Kashmir in India are against the government.
Khwaja Asif further said- The Indian government is killing the rights of the people. It is exploiting them. That is why people are standing up against them.
'Indian government is harassing minorities'
Pakistan's Defense Minister gave a controversial statement regarding the attack. He said, we have nothing to do with such an incident that happened in Pahalgam. I condemn such attacks. Especially such attacks should not happen on civilians.
Defence Minister Khawaja further said- The current government of India is harassing the minorities living there. This includes Buddhists, Christians and Muslims. People are being massacred. People are raising their voice against this.
Pakistan's army chief gave a provocative speech
After this terrorist attack, a statement by Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir has become the topic of discussion. About a week ago, he had described Kashmir as the lifeline of his country.
Addressing a conference of expatriate Pakistanis in Islamabad on April 16, Asim Munir said, "This was and will remain our nerve. We will not forget it. We will not leave our Kashmiri brothers alone in their fight against Indian occupation."
