How to use lemon peel for cleaning 

First, don't throw away any leftover lemon peels. Add them to the mopping water. This will create a natural fragrance in the house and act as a floor cleaner.

Lemon peels can also be added to the washing machine while washing clothes. This will add fragrance to the clothes.  

To clean the chopper board, apply baking soda on lemon peel and rub it, it will get completely clean.

Fill a microwave-safe bowl with water, add a few slices of lemon, and microwave for 3-4 minutes. Afterward, wipe the inside of the microwave with a clean cloth.

Mix 1 teaspoon of any liquid soap, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and the juice of 2 lemons with 1 glass of water. Use this to clean sofas, cupboards, dining tables, coffee tables, or doors.

To remove the smell from the fridge, keep the juice of 1 large lemon in a bowl of water in the fridge, also let the lemon peel remain in that water.

This bowl of lemon water can also be kept in any room or kitchen of the house, it works as a room freshener. 

Kitchen sinks, kitchen slabs and bathroom washbasins can also be brightened by applying a little baking soda to lemon peels.

Lemon is a great way to shine brass utensils for Diwali. Mix lemon with dish soap or baking soda to brighten brass utensils.

Puja utensils made of brass or copper will shine like new if cleaned with a little detergent mixed with lemon. Lemon is effective in cleaning metal.
