The Muslim community has claimed that the land on which the cowshed is being built is a cemetery land. The Muslim community protested and said that there are old graves here. Therefore, it is wrong to build a cowshed here.

After this protest, the matter got heated up very fast. Congress leader Ashwini Srivastava is building a cowshed on this land, recently BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma had come for its Bhoomi Pujan. Rameshwar Sharma said that this land is legal and has never been a graveyard before. He said that 60 years ago Hindu children were buried here. Later some people started calling it a graveyard.

Local Hindu residents also said that this land was lying vacant and children used to play here. People said that now an attempt is being made to forcibly occupy it by making it a religious issue.

People of the Muslim festival committee say that this is Waqf land. The land was rented to Ashwini Srivastava for tree plantation during the Congress regime. The Muslim side says that last year the Waqf Board's agreement with Ashwini Srivastava has been cancelled. They say that they will take this matter to the court. They say that they will also protest and will not allow the construction of a cowshed under any circumstances.

This land is in a residential area and its value is said to be around Rs 100 crore. Due to this, the matter has now become a political and economic dispute along with a religious one.
