News Topical, Digital Desk : In Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, continuous action is being taken against illegal encroachments. In this regard, the administration on Tuesday bulldozed a shrine built illegally on government land. The site of the demolition was located near the Mukt Kashi Manch, where the shrine dedicated to Hazrat Imarti Shah Baba was removed. A large number of police and security forces were deployed at the scene.
It is reported that approximately 2,000 square feet of government land had been encroached under the guise of a shrine, which the Jhansi Development Authority freed. This illegal construction had been gradually being built over the past several years, and strict action was taken after the administration noticed it.
The tomb was demolished with a bulldozer amid heavy security
The bulldozer action at the shrine lasted approximately four to five hours. A large police force was deployed to the site to prevent any disruption. Senior officials from the Jhansi Development Authority and the City Magistrate were present at the scene and monitored the entire operation.
Illegal occupation of government land removed
The illegal construction was completely razed to the ground using a JCB machine, while the debris was also removed using a tractor. The situation in the area is currently normal, but this action by the administration sends a clear message that this strictness against illegal encroachments will continue in the future.
Rajkumar, Executive Engineer of the Jhansi Development Authority, stated that the opposing party had requested four or five opportunities to remove the shrine. The authority granted them the opportunity, and the entire case was heard. Three or four opportunities were granted. Some encroachments were removed on their own. The remaining encroachments were removed by the authority.
