News Topical, Digital Desk : Development will take wings in the city of Krishna. Religious sites will be renovated at a cost of 67.04 crore rupees. The state government has taken a major step to establish the cultural aura and religious significance of Braj Bhoomi on the global stage. Nine major development plans have been approved, giving new impetus to Braj's development.
Through these projects, the religious places of Kanha's city will be rejuvenated, which will not only promote tourism but will also provide world-class facilities to the devotees.

The government has approved the proposals prepared by the Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad. A total budget of ₹67.04 crore has been set aside for all these works. Given the urgency of the development, the administration has also released ₹34.66 crore to ensure no delays in construction. Responsibility for these developments has been assigned primarily to the Mathura-Vrindavan Development Authority, the Forest Department, and the Irrigation Department.

The most prominent attraction of this project is Vrindavan's world-famous Parikrama Marg. Facade work will be carried out at a cost of ₹21.80 crore to enhance the beauty and uniformity of the Parikrama Marg. Under this scheme, buildings, gates, and walls along the route will be reimagined in a distinctive Braj style. This will provide a divine and grand experience to the millions of devotees performing the Parikrama. The government has also opened its coffers for Kokilavan. Development work will be undertaken at Kokilavan at a cost of approximately ₹7.81 crore, with special attention paid to seating arrangements, drinking water, and lighting.
Environment will be taken care of along with development
In addition, seven other projects will be implemented to develop Akrur Ghat, Chir Ghat, and the Aincha Dauji Temple at Shergarh. These plans address both development and environmental protection. The objective of these projects is to provide modern amenities while preserving the ancient heritage of Braj. With the allocation of funds, the tender process is being expedited so that the city of Kanha emerges with a new, vibrant image within the stipulated timeframe.

- 7.81 crore – Development of eco-tourism site on wetland at Kokilavan near Shanidev Temple
- 1.23 crore – Eco restoration work of fencing of 30 hectares of forest of Sakhigiri Parisat in Uncha village
- 1.46 crore – Development of Buddhist Vihar Complex at Prem Nagar, Mahavan
- 1.97 crore – Conservation of Aincha Dauji temple complex near Shergarh, development of pandal
- 6.89 crore – Development and beautification of Chiraghat in Syarah
- 6.35 crore – Construction of Akrur Ghat in Vrindavan
- 21.89 crore – Facade work on the Vrindavan Parikrama Marg
- 2.48 crore – Tourism development in Deendayal Dham
- 17.01 crore – Work on dormitory, parking, toilet block etc. in the tourist facilitation centre
