News Topical, Digital Desk : The BJP government in Uttar Pradesh has planned a series of extensive public relations and promotion programs to bring the Union Budget directly to the public until February 10. To this end, the BJP will launch a special campaign across the state to inform the public about the budget.
The BJP's budget campaign includes press conferences, meetings with various social groups, and a strong social media campaign aimed at highlighting the key provisions of the Union Budget and their potential impact on livelihoods, infrastructure, and employment in the country's most populous state.
Special campaign to publicize the budget
State BJP general secretary Subhash Yaduvansh told PTI, "From holding press conferences across the state to organising meetings with farmers, youth, women and other sections of the society, contacting influential people and interacting on social media, all our public relations activities will be focused on the budget."
Yaduvansh, a member of the Legislative Council and coordinator of the party's budget publicity campaign, said that panel discussions on the highlights of the budget have also been planned, along with Chaupals and small village meetings to reach out to people at the grassroots level, where people will be informed about the budget.
Awareness will be created regarding the budget
"All these activities will run simultaneously. Besides creating awareness about the various budgetary announcements and how they are expected to improve people's lives, the opposition's propaganda against the budget will also be effectively countered," he said.
The state BJP has also started posting sector-wise posts on its social media platforms, highlighting provisions related to agriculture, infrastructure, MSME, women-led self-help groups, youth skill development, tourism and healthcare.
