Nepal's ambassador to Israel, Dhan Prasad Pandit, confirmed the news, saying that Hamas had handed over Bipin's body to Israel.
According to Dhan Prasad Pandit, "Hamas has handed over the body of Bipin Joshi to the Israeli army, it is being brought to Tel Aviv (the capital of Israel)."
Hamas handed over 4 bodies
According to Israeli military spokesman Efi Defrin, Hamas handed over the bodies of four hostages, including that of Bipin Joshi. Hamas executed all of them.
DNA testing will be conducted before Bipin's body is handed over to Nepalese authorities. His funeral will also be held in Israel under the supervision of the Nepalese Embassy.
Went to Israel for studies
Bipin Joshi, from a small village in Nepal, traveled to Israel in September 2023 with 16 other students to study agriculture at Kibbutz Alumim, near the Gaza border. During this time, Hamas attacked Israel and took Bipin hostage.

Bipin bravely picked up the second grenade and threw it out, saving many lives. However, Hamas captors took him hostage and took him to Gaza. Bipin was the only Hindu among those captured by Hamas.
Died before his 25th birthday
The Israeli army released a video from Gaza showing Bipin being dragged to a hospital. He was never heard from after that. October 26th would have been Bipin's 25th birthday. However, he passed away before that date.
