Bihar: Nitish Kumar's mother-in-law passes away, Chief Minister attends funeral

His son Nishant Kumar and Bihar government minister Ashok Chaudhary also accompanied him during the visit. CM Nitish Kumar's mother-in-law, Vidyawati Devi, had been ill for a long time and was admitted to IGIMS Hospital in Patna. As soon as news of her death spread, people began to visit.

Said goodbye to the world at the age of 90

The Chief Minister's mother-in-law passed away on Friday (December 19) at 6:40 pm. She departed this world at the age of 90. The news of her death sent shockwaves through the family.

His last rites were performed at Bans Ghat in Patna. The Chief Minister attended the funeral and bid him farewell. The last rites were performed according to Hindu rituals. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, ministers, and family members were present. 

Vidyavati Devi was suffering from many diseases.

According to family members, she had been suffering from several illnesses for a long time. She was admitted to the hospital and receiving appropriate treatment under the supervision of doctors. Her condition worsened and she died. It is reported that Vidyavati Devi's condition was very serious due to her illnesses.

Nitish Kumar's son, Nishant Kumar, reportedly visited his grandmother regularly after she was hospitalized. Condolences are pouring in across the state for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his family over her passing. Close relatives are present at the family's home to offer support during this time of grief.
