Preparations are underway for the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister at Patna's historic Gandhi Maidan. All preparations are being made to accommodate the large number of attendees, both common and special.
It is reported that the main stage being built at Gandhi Maidan is being prepared in accordance with VVIP security standards. Arrangements are being made for the pandal, sound system, and surrounding barricades. The ground has been divided into zones to ensure crowd management and security are not a problem. Currently, grass is being cut at Gandhi Maidan. Carpeting work will begin after this.
Special preparations for stage decoration, water sprinkling
Special preparations have been made to decorate the main stage. Municipal corporation water sprinkler vehicles are continuously spraying water on the grounds to prevent dust. The administration says that preparations are underway to ensure a grand, attractive, and safe swearing-in ceremony.

Meanwhile, Bihar BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal said on Tuesday (November 18, 2025) that a grand swearing-in ceremony will be held at Gandhi Maidan in Patna on November 20. Prime Minister Narendra Modi , senior BJP leaders, chief ministers and deputy chief ministers of various states, and prominent figures from the community have been invited to the ceremony.
He said that all voters who have given immense support to the NDA are being invited to attend this event. Two to three lakh people will attend the event. He also informed that the legislative party meeting is on November 19th.
