Actually, the fluid called 'aqueous humour' present inside the eyes starts accumulating inside instead of flowing out. Due to which pressure on the optic nerve behind the eyes increases and vision starts decreasing. Apart from this, aging, blood pressure, diabetes, heredity or injury to the eyes are said to be the reasons for glaucoma.
Symptoms
Glaucoma symptoms aren't particularly noticeable in the beginning. Many people experience headaches, rainbow-like vision, or vomiting, but in most cases, the disease doesn't even cause eye pain.
