News Topical, Digital Desk : A tragic accident occurred in Bengaluru when an ambulance collided with a scooter. The couple riding the scooter died on the spot. Two people were also injured.

What is the whole matter?

Around 11 p.m. Saturday night, a speeding ambulance broke a red signal and struck several two-wheelers in the city's Richmond Circle area. The accident was so severe that the ambulance first collided with three bikes and then dragged a scooter for several meters before crashing into a police checkpoint.

Ismail (40) and his wife, Samina Banu, who were riding the scooter, died on the spot. Two others were seriously injured and taken to a nearby hospital.

Following the accident, bystanders tried to lift the ambulance to free the seriously injured couple from beneath it. A video taken at the scene has surfaced on social media, clearly showing the damaged bikes and the crushed police post.

Wilson Garden Traffic Police arrived at the scene, conducted an inspection, registered a case, and began an investigation. Ambulance driver Ashok was taken into custody and an FIR was filed against him.

This incident in Bengaluru has shocked residents of the area, who say the ambulance driver should have driven within the speed limit. A couple died due to the driver's error. The health of those injured in the incident is not yet known.

It is being said that if the driver had controlled the speed while driving, such an accident would not have occurred. However, drivers ignore the rules, and people pay the price with their lives.
