Trump's statement on the presidency

During the shooting incident on Trump on July 13, 2024, a bullet grazed his ear. The US President said, “Sometimes the tingling of that bullet is still felt. This is a dangerous job.”

 

Trump also said that being president is one of the most dangerous professions. He said, "Race car drivers have a 0.1% chance of dying, bull riders have the same chance. But when you become president, this figure goes up to about 5%. If someone had told me this earlier, I probably wouldn't have contested the election."

 

Trump has been attacked many times

According to Trump, he has been attacked several times since becoming president. In another incident, he was attacked while playing golf in West Palm Beach, Florida on September 15, 2024. An accused in that case has been charged with five federal charges and has pleaded not guilty.

 

The man who attacked Trump during the event on July 13, 2024 was shot by the Secret Service. One person was killed and two others were injured at that rally.
