News Topical, Digital Desk : A tragic road accident occurred on Sunday (April 5) near Pardholi village in CBganj, Bareilly. A speeding Bolero vehicle rear-ended a tanker parked on the roadside, killing five people on the spot and seriously injuring three others, including the Bolero driver. The accident caused widespread panic in the area.

According to reports, the Bolero was coming from Lucknow. It suddenly lost control and rammed into a tanker parked on the side of the road. The impact was so severe that the front of the Bolero was completely shattered. The occupants were trapped inside, and screams erupted.

Immediately after the accident, people from the surrounding area rushed to the scene and began rescue operations. They informed the police and tried to rescue the trapped people. Later, police and rescue teams arrived at the scene and, using a cutter, cut open the vehicle to free the injured.

The injured are being treated in the hospital

The injured include the Bolero driver, Prince, and two children. All were immediately rushed by ambulance to Navodaya Hospital on the Mini Bypass, where they are undergoing treatment. Doctors say some of the injured remain in critical condition.

Police said Manmohan Singh, Sikandar, Sahabzad Khan, and Mumtaz have been identified, while one person remains unidentified. Police are trying to identify him.

CBganj Inspector Pradeep Kumar Chaturvedi said that preliminary investigations suggest speeding and negligence are the main causes of the accident. Police are investigating the entire matter.

The entire area is in mourning following this accident. The loss of five lives in a single accident has left the villagers and surrounding areas in shock. Police are investigating further investigations.
