News Topical, Digital Desk : Government officials and diplomats of Bangladesh and Pakistan will be able to visit each other's country without visa for five years. For this both the countries have decided to sign an agreement.

The Pakistan government has already approved it. The decision comes ahead of Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar's proposed visit to Bangladesh on Saturday, while his Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday and met Bangladesh Commerce Adviser SK Bashiruddin on Thursday.

 

Shafiqul Alam, press secretary of interim government chief adviser Muhammad Yunus, said Bangladesh has decided to sign an agreement with Pakistan.

He said that this agreement will be for a period of five years after signing. However, no date has been given as to when this visa free arrangement will start.
