News Topical, Digital Desk : In the case of BJP General Secretary Dushyant Gautam's name being raised in the famous Ankita Bhandari murder case of Uttarakhand, the Delhi High Court directed the Congress Party, Aam Aadmi Party and other concerned parties to remove all the alleged defamatory posts from the social media, in which BJP National General Secretary and former Rajya Sabha MP Dushyant Kumar Gautam has been linked to the Ankita Bhandari murder case.
Along with this, the Delhi High Court also directed all the parties not to post or broadcast any such content in which the name of Dushyant Kumar Gautam is mentioned or he is portrayed as an alleged VIP in the Ankita Bhandari murder case.
Dushyant Gautam had filed a defamation suit
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary Dushyant Gautam filed a defamation suit in the Delhi High Court against the Congress Party, the Aam Aadmi Party, and others after his name was mentioned on social media in connection with the Ankita Bhandari murder case.
In fact, BJP's National General Secretary and Uttarakhand State Incharge Dushyant Kumar Gautam had made serious allegations against former MLA Suresh Rathore and actress Urmila Sanawar of conspiring to tarnish his image and spoil the atmosphere of the state through social media.
BJP leader Dushyant Gautam had alleged that misleading and baseless videos and posts were being circulated on social media platforms in the name of the Ankita Bhandari case, aimed at defaming him and creating a riot-like situation in Uttarakhand.
What is the whole matter?
In September 2022, Ankita Bhandari, a 19-year-old receptionist, was murdered at a hotel in Uttarakhand. Pulkit Arya, the son of a former BJP leader, was arrested for her murder. A lower court sentenced Arya and two others to life imprisonment.
