News Topical, Digital Desk : News of an air accident has emerged in New Jersey, USA. Two helicopters collided mid-air. One person died and another was seriously injured in the accident. Hammonton Police Chief Kevin Freel said that rescue crews arrived at the scene around 11:25 a.m. after receiving reports of a plane crash. Video of the scene has also emerged, showing a helicopter rapidly spiraling toward the ground.

A mid-air collision between two helicopters

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, an Enstrom F-28A helicopter and an Enstrom 280C helicopter collided over Hammonton Municipal Airport. Both aircraft were carrying only pilots. One of the pilots died, while the other sustained serious injuries.

An anklet died in an accident

Sal Silipino, owner of a cafe near the crash site, said the pilots were regulars at the restaurant and often had breakfast together. He said he and other customers saw the helicopters fly overhead, then one of them began to spin downward, while the other also spun and crashed.
