President Trump said that US forces attacked and destroyed a boat allegedly being used for drug trafficking. The attack targeted a boat affiliated with a designated terrorist organization involved in drug trafficking in the USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility. A video of the attack has also surfaced.
Video of the attack surfaced
A video has emerged of the US military attacking a Venezuelan boat in the middle of the ocean. The video, released by the White House on X-ray, shows a high-speed boat moving at high speed. Two missiles chase it and, with precise aim, destroy it. With a loud explosion, the boat erupts into a ball of fire. Three people on board were killed, and the entire boat was reduced to ashes in no time.
Third attack in a month
This is the third attack on a US high-seas speedboat in a month. The previous attack on September 2nd resulted in the deaths of 11 people. Following the attack, Trump said, "Intelligence has confirmed that the vessel was smuggling illegal drugs and was traveling along a known drug trafficking route to poison Americans."
