News Topical, Digital Desk : Aligarh News: The police has solved the case of robbery of bank employees late night on June 3 in Harduaganj police station area of Aligarh. The rural Superintendent of Police has revealed the incident and arrested five robbers. While one of their accomplices involved in the robbery is still away from the police's reach.

The police have recovered about 10 lakh rupees in cash looted from the bank employees and two illegal pistols along with the Bolero car and a bike used in the crime from the possession of the accused. The police have registered a case against all the robbers arrested under the Arms Act and robbery sections at the police station and have produced all the five accused before the court and sent them to jail in police custody.

Rural Superintendent of Police Amrit Jain said that five police teams were formed to uncover this incident. CCTV surveillance and rural police along with the police station successfully uncovered this robbery incident on Friday. In this regard, five accused have been arrested who had committed this robbery incident in a planned manner.

The bank employee had planned the robbery.
He told that both the bank employees who were victims of robbery work as agents for the bank. On the basis of the complaint of the plaintiff, a case of robbery was registered at Harduaganj police station under crime number 199/25. Prima facie, in police investigation, it came to light that there is a Centon Bank in Atrauli town which also does finance work. A finance employee working in this bank had informed the criminals about this.

He told that the finance employee conspired with the criminals and gave information about the coming and going of the finance employees and also about the route by which the two agents were going along with how much cash they were carrying in their bags. As per the pre-planned strategy, on the dark road at a deserted place on Ramghat Road, late at night on June 3, they came in a Bolero car and hit the two bank employees from behind. Their three fellow robbers reached the bank employees on a bike stolen a few days ago and fled from the spot after looting the bag at gunpoint.

10 lakh cash recovered from the robbers.
At present, the police have recovered about 10 lakh rupees from the robbers. A white Bolero car used in the crime, a stolen Splendor bike and two illegal pistols used in the crime have also been recovered from the robbers.

The police officer said that the names of the five miscreants are Dushyant, Rohit, Deep, Arvind and Naveen. Miscreant Rohit had stolen the bike. In this regard, a case of bike theft has been registered against Rohit at Dadon police station. While a case of robbery has already been registered against Praveen, an absconding accused in this robbery case.

Police is searching for the absconding robber. In
addition, preliminary investigation by the police has revealed that after the robbery, some of the miscreants went to Himachal for sightseeing. Due to which, some of the looted money was spent on sightseeing. Also, one of the accused is still absconding. There is a possibility of recovering the remaining amount from this absconding robber.
