News Topical, Digital Desk : In Uttar Pradesh, BJP leaders organized a "Jan Aakrosh Mahila Padyatra" from the Chief Minister's residence to the UP Assembly following the failure of the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill to pass in the Lok Sabha. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was accompanied by Deputy Chief Ministers Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party chief and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has taken a dig at the BJP's march. The SP chief said that the BJP's march is a practice of opposition.

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said he heard a march was taking place today, and no one wore sunglasses in this scorching heat. He added that they were practicing their opposition, noting this is the first government to have acted as an opposition while in power. Akhilesh Yadav said that no one has ever fought for their own laws as much as this government is. For the first time in history, a community is going to defeat a party in an election. That community is called the PDA and the PDA family.

In this press conference, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said, "Thank you to everyone for the recent historic victory of democracy. We socialists have always supported women's reservations , but if anyone wants to stop reservations, it is the BJP. This is a defeat for the BJP's ill-intentioned actions. People who don't know how to count will demand a caste census when the census is conducted."
