An airline official said the mishap occurred before take-off, when the plane was on the runway. The flight had to be cancelled as the eagle hit the nose of the plane. "The bird hit before take-off. The mishap occurred when the plane was taxiing on the runway," an official said. Following the incident, Air India Express made alternate arrangements for passengers to ease their inconvenience.

A bird also collided with the Nagpur-Kolkata flight

Let us tell you that on September 2, IndiGo flight 6E 812 going from Nagpur to Kolkata had to face trouble due to bird hit. This accident happened shortly after the flight started, after which the pilots took precautions and landed the plane back at Nagpur airport. The flight was canceled for security check and repair. After the incident, IndiGo arranged for alternate flights, refund and food facilities for the passengers. The airline also thanked the passengers for their cooperation.

There was a ruckus in the Delhi-Kolkata flight

Let us tell you that in another incident, on September 1, a passenger created a ruckus in a drunken state on IndiGo flight 6E 6571 going from Delhi to Kolkata. This passenger, who is a lawyer by profession, sitting on seat number 31D, allegedly drank alcohol, raised religious slogans and misbehaved with the cabin crew. Due to this, the flight was delayed by three hours. IndiGo declared the passenger 'unruly' and handed him over to the security personnel on reaching Kolkata. The passenger rejected these allegations and said that he did not drink alcohol in the flight, but bought a beer at the airport before boarding, the receipt of which he has. Both the passenger and the crew have filed complaints against each other, and the matter is under investigation.
