Officials are taught the importance of development work, but despite all this, development work in the district is still lagging behind. If you don't believe it, just look at the CM Dashboard's March rankings.
Agra has once again slipped to 71st place (out of 75 districts). Agra's ranking was 58th in February and 71st in January. The rapid decline in rankings is due to inadequate monitoring of development projects and the inaction of officials.
Except for Agra, the other three districts—Mainpuri, Mathura, and Firozabad—have good rankings. When it comes to revenue rankings, Agra is ranked 47th. Divisional Commissioner Nagendra Pratap Singh has expressed his displeasure over the low rankings for development projects.
From speeding up the work to properly resolving the complaints, everything has been asked.
This is the reason for the drop in ranking
- Not monitoring properly
- Non-daily inspection of villages by officials
- Failure to handle complaints properly
- Delay in verification of various schemes
- Negligence in work by district level officials
What is CM Dashboard?
It is a digital platform for real-time monitoring of all government departments and their schemes. A meeting is held every month directly by the Chief Minister. The ranking of each district is determined based on this. The CM Dashboard was launched on July 30, 2023.
Chief Minister Rural Housing Scheme
Mathura topped the state in this scheme with 105.53 percent in March. Gonda was second with 102.60 percent, and Saharanpur was third with 101.17 percent. Agra, on the other hand, ranked lowest with a 91.09 percent pass percentage. The Rural Development Department is responsible for monitoring the scheme.
