The actress, famous for films like Chandramukhi Pranasakhi, Rashtra Geete and Wrong Number, is going to become a mother at the age of 40. The actress revealed through a social media post that she is all set to enjoy motherhood through in vitro fertilization (IVF).
She will become a mother through IVF
In an interview, she revealed that she is six months pregnant and is expecting twins. On July 4, Bhavana also shared a picture in which she is seen flaunting her baby bump. Bhavana is single and is not married. She opened up about her IVF journey and how the doctors reacted when she told them about her plans. While speaking to Times of India, the actress said, "Since marriage and my paths never crossed, I had to consider other such possibilities.
Many doctors had refused
Bhavana further added, "For a long time, the law did not support unmarried women to opt for motherhood through these methods. But when the legal framework came into place, I felt the time had come. I started approaching IVF clinics. Many refused me. Many doctors immediately disconnected the phone when they found out that I was unmarried."
What does Bhavna want to teach children
The actress further praised her doctor and called him very supportive. The actress said that he has supported me a lot in this journey. Bhavna further said that she is ready for the future of her children. She said, "I have thought about what it means to raise children as a single parent, and I am well aware that my children may face questions when they grow up. I am ready for it. I do not hate men and I do not claim that living without a man is the ideal path. What I will teach my children is that life is about love, companionship and standing firm on your truth. Bhavana started her acting career in 1996 with the film Maribel. She has also acted in films like Nee Mudida Mallige, Kshama, Bhagirathi, Otta, Bhagavan, Shanthi, Family and others.
