News Topical, Digital Desk : AAP Councillors Resigns: A major rebellion has been seen in the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi. Angered by the party's decision, 15 AAP councillors have resigned from the primary membership of AAP. They have also announced to form their own party. This is the first reaction of the Aam Aadmi Party on the rebellion of these councillors.

Aam Aadmi Party said, "Since the time of mayor elections, BJP has been trying to woo our councillors. Each councillor was offered Rs 5 crore. BJP does not have majority to form a permanent committee or ward committee, so it is resorting to buying people."

'Truth will be out for all'
The party further said, "Since we had exposed the BJP's horse-trading attempts during the mayoral elections itself, they are now resorting to drama by pretending that these turncoats are from another party. But make no mistake - this is the work of the BJP from start to finish. The truth will be out for all in the coming days."

'BJP's intention exposed'
Aam Aadmi Party says that BJP's intention was exposed during the mayoral elections itself. At that time also AAP had exposed BJP's attempts of 'horse trading'. According to the party, "Now BJP is doing drama and trying to show that the resignations are related to some other party, whereas in reality the entire conspiracy is of BJP."

'Will take the matter to the public'
AAP stressed, "The truth behind these resignations will soon be revealed to the public. This entire game is being played at the behest of the BJP so that its hold on the Delhi Municipal Corporation can be strengthened. But, Aam Aadmi Party will not let these efforts of BJP succeed." Aam Aadmi Party also indicated that it will go to the public with this matter and will oppose the 'anti-democracy politics' of the BJP at every level.

15 councillors resigned.
Let us tell you that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has suffered a big setback in the Municipal Corporation. 15 Municipal Councillors have collectively resigned and severed ties with the party. All these councillors have announced to form a new political platform, which has been named 'Indraprastha Vikas Party'. Councillor Mukesh Goyal, who was among those who resigned, made serious allegations against the party leadership while talking to the media.

Mukesh Goyal told news agency IANS, "We had won the election on the Aam Aadmi Party ticket and at that time we had got 135 seats out of 250, but today our number has gradually decreased to around 90. What is the reason behind this?
