News Topical, Digital Desk : Released in theaters in 2006, Rang De Basanti is one of the most successful films of Aamir Khan 's acting career. Aamir Khan was unhappy with a scene in the film, which he recently revealed at an event. The actor also expressed his desire to reshoot it.

Aamir was not happy with the scene in Rang De Basanti

At a recent event, when Aamir was asked which scene he would like to reshoot, he named Rang De Basanti, which featured a lathi-charge scene. Aamir said:

“That scene didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. I had prepared a lot for that scene. I told Rakesh (director Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra) that I didn't want to rehearse this scene, I wanted to shoot it straight away. We went and set up the camera setup a day before so we could shoot all the angles at once. I was ready the next day, and when I went to the makeup room, I saw that the clothes hanging there weren't right. I told them they weren't right. The person there said we were going to shoot another scene.”

I asked Mehra, and the cinematographer said that if we shoot the night scene, it would take a day and a half. If there are lighting issues, we can shoot other scenes first. I know that extending the shooting by a day and a half isn't right. I did the second scene. The scene I was ready for came four days later. That scene didn't turn out the way it should. I couldn't reach the emotional level I had planned for that day. He taught me that when you have to choose between creativity and practicality, choose creativity.
