News Topical, Digital Desk : A major revelation has emerged, pointing to growing coordination between terrorist organizations operating in different parts of the world. Faisal Nadeem, a senior commander of the Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), has publicly admitted for the first time to contacts with Hamas and meetings with its top leaders.

This confession has raised concerns among international security agencies, including India. This direct link between Lashkar, which is on the US list of banned terrorist organizations, and Hamas points to an emerging global terrorist network.

Meeting with Hamas leadership in Doha

According to an NDTV report, in a video, Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML) commander Faisal Nadeem revealed that he met senior Hamas leaders in Doha, the capital of Qatar, in 2024. The PMML is considered a political front for Lashkar-e-Taiba.

According to Faisal Nadeem, Saifullah Kasuri was also present on this trip. Kasuri is said to be the mastermind of the Pahalgam terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir. Nadeem claimed that the two met with senior Hamas leader Khaled Mashal.

Important evidence for Indian agencies

Indian intelligence agencies believe this statement is concrete evidence of direct coordination between terrorist networks operating in South Asia and the Middle East. Analysts say this alliance may not be limited to sharing logistics, propaganda, and operational experience.

Experts say the admission sheds light on the emerging strategic relationship between LeT and Hamas, which could pose a serious threat to regional security in the future.

The picture of their closeness has already surfaced.

It is worth noting that earlier reports had emerged of a meeting between senior Hamas commander Naji Zahir and LeT commander Rashid Ali Sandhu in Gujranwala, Pakistan.

The meeting took place at a public event organized by the PMML, where Nazi Zaheer was on stage as the chief guest and Rashid Sandhu attended under the guise of a political leader. A video showed the two sharing the stage together.

According to security officials, this open presence demonstrates the growing trust and deepening relationship between Lashkar and Hamas. According to reports, Naji Zahir has visited Pakistan approximately 15 times since October 2023.

Officials say the frequent visits and presence at public events indicate that the two organisations are no longer shying away from hiding their relationship.

The matter may be raised on international forums

According to counter-terrorism experts, since both Hamas and Lashkar-e-Taiba are designated terrorist organizations by several countries, including the US, any cooperation between them is a serious violation of international laws.

Indian intelligence agencies are closely monitoring this emerging nexus. According to officials, the possibility of raising the matter with the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and other global forums is also being explored.
