News Topical, Digital Desk : In the Civil Lines police station area of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, a sensation spread at midnight when a personal dispute escalated into a bloody incident, resulting in multiple rounds of firing. Lucky Saini, a resident of Ashiana Colony in the Majhola police station area, was seriously injured in the firing. The shooting sent shockwaves through his family, who were immediately rushed to the district hospital for treatment. Seeing his condition critical, doctors referred Lucky Saini to a private hospital in Moradabad after providing first aid, where he is currently undergoing treatment. According to doctors, his condition remains critical.
Ramganga Vihar police station incident
The incident reportedly took place outside the Prem Sweets shop located in the Ramganga Vihar police station area of the Civil Lines police station. A dispute erupted late at night between two groups over an issue. The altercation quickly escalated into a violent exchange of gunfire. The sudden gunfire spread panic throughout the area, frightening the people nearby.
Police started investigation
Giving information about the case, Superintendent of Police (City) Kumar Ranvijay Singh stated that the incident was the result of a dispute between two parties. He added that the injured, Lucky Saini, is undergoing treatment at a private hospital. Initial investigations have revealed that both parties knew each other.
According to the police, no immediate application was filed by either party after the incident. Consequently, the area outpost in-charge took suo motu cognizance and filed a case. The police have named 10 accused in this case and also registered charges against several other unidentified individuals.
Several rounds of firing took place
Moradabad SP City Ranvijay Singh said that several rounds of firing took place during the altercation. Police have currently detained three people, while raids are underway to search for the other accused. Police are investigating the matter thoroughly and will soon arrest the remaining accused.
