According to sources, the Israeli army has found clues that Hamas has kept Israeli hostages in Deir al-Balah, so to free them, the area has to be evacuated and the military operation has to be intensified. Hamas currently has about 50 hostages in its custody, out of which only 20 are likely to be alive. The families of the hostages have questioned the army about the release and well-being of their loved ones. They have said that intensifying the military operation will increase the risk to the lives of the hostages.
