On Sunday, Israeli soldiers again fired on the crowd waiting for food supplies in which 67 people are reported to have been killed. Nearly a thousand people have been killed in such incidents in about two months.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army has asked the people of central Gaza to vacate the area. It said that it will further intensify its operation in Gaza. Israeli soldiers opened fire in northern Gaza when thousands of people were waiting for UN trucks carrying relief material. This material contained food grains, drinking water, medicines and other essential items.

Israel claimed air firing

The Israeli army has said that due to the possibility of chaos and violence, bullets were fired only in the air as a warning, no one was targeted. During this, some people might have died due to stampede. While the bodies of 67 people injured by bullets have been brought to the nearby hospital and dozens of injured have also arrived. It is known that on Saturday 42 people were killed in firing on people going to buy food items at two places.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army has asked the people of Deir al-Balah, located in the middle of Gaza, to leave the area. The Israeli army's operation in the area will intensify. Three houses were destroyed here in Israeli airstrikes on Sunday. The number of people killed in this attack is not yet known. It is known that in the war that has been going on since October 7, 2023, 58 thousand people have been killed in Gaza and more than 90 percent of the population has been displaced. Thousands of bodies are buried in the debris of houses and buildings destroyed by bombing.

According to sources, the Israeli army has found clues that Hamas has kept Israeli hostages in Deir al-Balah, so to free them, the area has to be evacuated and the military operation has to be intensified. Hamas currently has about 50 hostages in its custody, out of which only 20 are likely to be alive. The families of the hostages have questioned the army about the release and well-being of their loved ones. They have said that intensifying the military operation will increase the risk to the lives of the hostages.
