New Delhi. As soon as summer starts, a lot of infections and allergies start. Many types of problems occur due to sweat in summer, which causes discomfort and pain and it also looks bad. It also reduces self-confidence. Along with health, many skin related problems also make people their victims in this season. In such a situation, it is important to know about these problems, so that the right measures can be adopted to get rid of them. Let us know the skin problems that occur in summer and their solutions-

Smell of sweat

In summers, sweating often causes the problem of bad odour. Taking a bath by adding salt to water removes the bad odour of sweat.

heat rash

Excessive sweating causes the sweat ducts to clog, trapping the sweat. This causes the sweat to go back to the dermis and epidermis, causing red patchy skin called prickly heat. It occurs more on the back, chest, neck and underarms. Applying paste of neem leaves and bathing, applying paste of sandalwood and rose water, applying multani mitti paste and bathing provides relief from prickly heat. Prickly heat can also be cured by using prickly heat powder.

Sun Tan

In summers, even a short exposure to the scorching sun can cause suntan. Before stepping out of the house, make sure to use a light, non-sticky, SPF 50+ sunscreen. Use a summer hat, sunglasses and if possible, cover your face while stepping out.

Oily Skin

Sweat can make the skin sticky and oily all the time. Exfoliate the skin and use a face wash that removes oil. Apply aloe vera face gel, which keeps the skin soft and supple.

Sun Damage

While suntan darkens the skin, sun damage causes hyperpigmentation of the skin, redness, irritation and sunburn symptoms. Sun damage is caused by a UV reaction in which the outer layer of the skin produces chemicals that dilate blood vessels and force them to leak fluid, which can lead to redness and swelling.

Acne

Due to excessive sweating, the skin becomes oily, which increases the chances of acne. Using clay charcoal mask or multani mitti paste can normalize the skin and prevent acne.

Pimple

Pimples and boils also become more common in summers. Applying aloe vera gel and turmeric paste can reduce them. However, do not try to treat them yourself by scratching them.

Dry Skin

Skin can become dry due to staying in AC or taking too much bath. Use light weight moisturizer and do not bathe with hot water.
