Leading IT company Wipro on Friday announced the results for the quarter ended December 2024 after the market closed. The company said that the profit has increased to Rs 3354 crore in the third quarter of FY 2025, which is an increase of 4.5 percent from Rs 3209 crore in the quarter (Q2) ended in September 2024. The company's income has increased to Rs 22285 crore in the quarter ended December, an increase of 0.5 percent from Rs 22,196 crore in the previous quarter of this financial year.

The company said that in the December quarter, EBIT increased from Rs 3,732 crore quarter-on-quarter to Rs 3,899 crore. While the EBIT margin increased to 17.5 percent, which was 16.8 percent in the previous quarter.

Dollar income and guidance The company said that in the December quarter, the company has recorded dollar income of $262.91 crore while the estimate was $262.4 crore. The company's CC revenue growth was 0.1 percent on a quarterly basis, the estimate was -1% to +1%. The company said that IT services income is estimated to be $260.2-265.5 crore. While CC revenue growth is estimated to be -1% to +1%. The company's deal win for the quarter was $961 million, which is a decline of 35 percent on a quarterly basis. Capital allocation policy revised The company said that the company will increase the payout percentage to more than 70 percent. Which was earlier at 45-50 percent. Wipro has also announced changes in its capital allocation policy. It will now pay 70 percent or more of its net income on a block of three years, whereas earlier this figure was 45 percent to 50 percent. Announcement of dividend The company has also announced an interim dividend of Rs 6 per share to investors. The company has fixed the record date for dividend as January 28, 2025. Wipro's stock closed at Rs 281.70 with a decline of 2.20 percent on Friday. In the last one year, the company's stock has seen a decline of 2.20 percent.
