New Delhi: There has been a change in the weather in the northern parts of the country. On Friday morning, a slight feeling of cold has started, due to which people have started keeping distance from AC and coolers. Due to low temperature at night, even a fan is enough. However, due to the sunshine in the afternoon, there is also a slight heat during the day.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there has been a slight drop in the minimum temperature of Delhi from today i.e. October 11. On Friday, the minimum temperature of Delhi may be 20 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature may be 35 degrees Celsius. The temperature is expected to fall rapidly soon.
In which states did the cold start?
According to IMD, cold has started in the northern Indian states - Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. Temperatures have also started falling in Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Rainfall is expected to decrease in Gujarat and Maharashtra.
IMD informed that temperatures may drop rapidly in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh in the coming weeks. The possibility of snowfall is also increasing especially in the Himalayan regions, which may increase the effect of cold in northern India.
In which states can it rain?
According to IMD, rain will continue in South Indian states - Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. IMD has also warned of heavy rains in some parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
On the other hand, rain will continue in the southern states - Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Heavy rain warning has also been issued in some parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. While light to moderate rain is expected in the northeastern states - Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.
How will the weather be in Bihar?
Due to the weakening of monsoon in the south-western part of the country, the weather will remain normal in some districts of the state including Bihar's capital Patna on Durga Puja. However, there are chances of rain in North Bihar. If this happens, the fun of the fair may be spoiled for the people. At the same time, traders may also have to suffer huge losses.
On the occasion of Durga Puja in Bihar, there may be sporadic rains on Dussehra in Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Madhepura, Saharsa, Purnia, Katihar, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Vaishali, Shivhar and Samastipur.
