Lucknow News: In the Uttar Pradesh cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, two proposals each from Transport, Tourism, Medical Education Department, one each from Home, Excise, Milk, Housing, Basic and Parliamentary Department, i.e. a total of 12 proposals have been approved. At the same time, it was decided in this meeting that English liquor and beer shops will be available through lottery system. In this cabinet meeting, the Excise Policy of 2025-26 has been approved, whether the prices of liquor will increase due to this system or not, it is not decided yet.

In the meeting of Yogi Cabinet, 12 proposals including the excise policy were approved. The UP government has set the revenue target of liquor sales at around 58 thousand crores. For a long time, the liquor traders of UP were in a dilemma as to what policy the government is bringing. What is it going to do, but with today's decision, the government has cleared the fog on this matter. The owners of liquor shops in UP were also demanding license renewal for a long time. The government had also indicated that no major changes will be made in the new policy for liquor traders.

According to the information given by UP CMO, a cabinet meeting was held today under the chairmanship of CM Yogi Adityanath at his official residence in Lucknow. Important decisions were taken in this meeting for the all-round development and public welfare of the state.

UP's budget session will be presented on February 19

The budget session of the UP Legislature will begin from February 18. On February 19, the UP government will present the budget proposal for the financial year 2025-26 in both houses of the legislature. Today's cabinet has also approved the proposal to convene the budget session.
